Winter Track Out

At Camp MusArt, a favorite song might turn into a drumbeat, an art idea can get wonderfully weird, and cooking class might introduce kids to a sweet treat from another culture. Every week brings a new theme to explore through music, art, movement, cooking, and plenty of room for kids’ own ideas.

Campers are divided into four groups by age and rotate through four classes in the morning and four in the afternoon. Teachers tailor each class to the group, making activities hands-on and interactive, with ideas younger campers can follow and challenges to keep older campers interested. Kids get to explore all kinds of art materials and techniques, creating projects that are as individual as they are.

The kids also produce their own digital recital video, complete with goofy commercials they dream up and perform. Our teachers add the green-screen magic, and families get a video they can watch, share, and laugh about long after camp is over.

We’re big fans of outdoor fun, too! The last hour usually starts with a silly all-camp activity to get everyone moving, then it’s playground time or hammock lounging while families arrive. Pack weather-appropriate layers and shoes for outdoor play.

For children in grades K–5 who are at least 5 and have started kindergarten by the start of camp. Camp runs 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Before care is available 7:30–9:00 a.m. and aftercare 4:00–5:30 p.m., upon request.
